THE BIG BAD AUDIT
"Audit" is a bit of a dirty word. At least one you're typically intimidated by.
Let's put an end to that — together.
THE PROBLEM
Sound familiar?
You're paying for apps and subscriptions you forgot you signed up for. Your email platform's bill keeps creeping up and you're not sure why. Every dashboard tells you a different number — your ad platforms say one thing, your analytics say another, your store says a third — and none of them match your bank account. Your shipping setup was built in a panic during a Q4 three years ago and nobody's touched it since.
Every tool promised to make things easier. Now you've got a dozen of them, they barely speak to each other, and the monthly total makes you wince.
That's not a you problem. That's what happens to nearly every merchant between $500K and $10M. The stack grows faster than anyone's watching it.
WHAT I LOOK AT
The full teardown
Your store platform. Shopify, BigCommerce, Woo, wherever you live. Apps, themes, checkout setup, what's redundant, what's breaking things.
Email & SMS. Klaviyo, Mailchimp, Attentive, whatever you're running. Flows, segments, list health, and whether you're paying for contacts who ghosted you years ago.
Analytics & reporting. GA4, attribution tools, native dashboards. Why your numbers don't match and which one to actually trust.
Paid platforms. Meta and Google account structure, tracking setup, whether your attribution is lying to you.
Fulfillment & shipping. Rates, rules, integrations, and where money leaks out the back door.
The connective tissue. Integrations, data flow, and all the places your tools should be talking but aren't.
1. Kickoff call (30 min) You tell me what hurts. I get access to the accounts.
2. The teardown (7–10 business days) I dig through everything. You do nothing.
3. The plan Every finding sorted into five buckets — Kill, Right-size, Fix, Connect, Add — each with a dollar figure attached.
4. Walkthrough call (60 min) I explain everything, you ask everything. No jargon allowed.
HOW IT WORKS
WHAT YOU GET
No 40-page report. A plan. Every line lands in one of five buckets:
Kill.
Right-size.
Fix.
Connect.
Add.
Each with a dollar figure — what it's costing you now, or what fixing it is worth monthly. Something you can hand to your team (or me) and start executing Monday.
And if the honest answer is that you've outgrown a platform (or you're paying enterprise money for starter-plan needs), you'll get a right-sized replatforming plan too — what to move to, why, what it'll cost, and how to migrate without lighting your data on fire. I only recommend this when the math says so, not because migrations are fun to sell.
E-commerce and DTC merchants doing roughly $500K–$10M who feel like their tools run them instead of the other way around. If you've ever said "I honestly don't know what half these subscriptions do" — hi, this is for you.
Who it's not for: anyone looking for a rubber stamp. I'm going to tell you what's broken, including the stuff you built yourself.
WHO THIS IS FOR
PRICING
$1,500 flat.
Most audits find more than that in the first bucket alone. If I don't find you meaningful savings or fixes, I'll tell you your stack is in good shape — that's worth knowing too.
THE TEMP CHECK
Not ready? Take your temperature first.
The Tech Stack Temp Check: 15 minutes, no logins, 26 questions that tell you whether your stack is running cool, warm, or hot.
Hey. I’m Ben.
I've spent 8+ years helping small businesses get to their first $1M and beyond, and somewhere along the way I got very good at one specific thing: looking at a merchant's pile of tools and subscriptions and figuring out what's earning its keep and what's just billing you.
